But my sorrow is very temporary,” she said. "Main mere gaano mein aur kaam mein itna busy thi ki waha dhyan dene ka waqt he nahi mila. Yet, behind the composure and restraint, there was also love. In the 1960s, Lata Mangeshkar shared a close bond with Raj Singh Dungarpur, a royal from Rajasthan and a passionate cricketer. Their relationship was known only to a few and remained largely unspoken by Lata herself.
